I recall a story grandad used to tell about driving the Emperor of Japan around in his tank when he visited Bovington Camp. He was told to shake him up as much as possible, and did so apparently. I can only assume it was 22 year-old Crown Prince Hirohito, future Emperor of Japan, who came to England on a state visit in 1921.
